OUR MISSION

We are a national coalition of real estate agents who are animals lovers. Our mission is to raise awareness that fostering saves the lives of rescue pets and grow the foster volunteer community.
We help others learn more about fostering and connect people interested in fostering with the shelter and/or rescue group convenient to them.

OUR BACKGROUND

Back in 2016, Los Angeles real estate broker and animal lover, Brian Fitzburgh, had the idea to bring rescue pets to his open houses with the hopes of creating a "love connections" and finding a "forever homes" for homeless animals.

Well, it turns out that bringing an actual "rescue pet" to an open house has all sorts of challenges and while well-intended, it wasn't the best idea.

But still wanting to find a way to help save the lives of homeless animals, the mission evolved into what is now a "national awareness campaign" that helps real estate agents incorporate their love and passion for rescue pets into their normal real estate routine.

"REAL ESTATE AGENTS TO THE RESCUE" is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization founded in 2017.​

OUR JOURNEY

Our journey began with bringing a rescue dog (Gigi) to an open house. We have since become coalition partners with Best Friends Animal Society and held numerous free charity events to help the communities and rescue groups around us.
